I purchased the tv mount from the provider because the price quoted was competitive and I didn't have to worry about going to a store and buying the correct mount. The 10% AL discount was a nice extra. The installer was prompt, courteous, and neat. He cleaned up after the installation and except for the tv now mounted on the wall, you wouldn't know anyone had been there. The installer even clearly hid the cord ends to ensure that the tv would lay as flat as possible against the wall. It has been several weeks since the install and everything works great. It was worth the money to have someone else do this job..

Member Comments: Last year, I did not know better and I hired BestBuy Geek Squad to install and mount seven TVs.  It was a total disaster.  I could not believe how incompetent they were.  They also lacked total professionalism.  I swore that I would never make the same mistake twice.

Last week, I bought two new curved 65" TVs.  Today, Mr. TV Mount relocated two power boxes and then mounted the two TVs.  My appt. was for 9 a.m.  The installers actually showed up 10 minutes early at 8:50.  I cannot say enough great things about the two installers.  Simply put, they were awesome.  Everything they did exceeded my expectations.  If you want to have a stress-free experience, then I strongly recommend that you hire Mr. TV Mount.

Description Of Work: He arrived with an assistant and they went to work to mount our 55" and 40" televisions.  This included installing sound bars for each TV, hiding cables and wires, installing power surge protectors, moving ethernet cords, and pulling cable lines from our basement to the first-floor living room that never had cable tv previously.

Member Comments: These guys were great! First I called them to set up an appointment and get a quote. Gio was really helpful on the phone. He answered all my questions and even gave me a suggestion or two as to what items to buy beforehand so that they were available to install when he came. He was also able to give me a quote over the phone,  which was extremely reasonable.
Throughout the process, Gio informed us of what he was doing and sought our input before cutting our drywall and installing anything. He didn't just do whatever without telling us how he was going to do it or what the end product would look like.  He talked through the entire project with us, explained why he was doing what he was doing, and answered all of our questions.  He was also very creative in his wiring design to give us a super-professional and clean look.  Our house gave them a couple of challenges but Gio was innovative in resolving these matters and didn't charge us extra for these unexpected issues.  
He was able to do everything without damaging any of our walls (so we don't even have to hire drywall people to repair or touch up anything).  Gio and his assistant cleaned everything up and wiped down our floors.
This was the second home where I had televisions mounted (my first time using Gio) and compared to my previous experience, Gio was extremely professional, creative, and reasonable. I am so happy we found him!!!

When the installers arrived, they unpacked my TV, mounted it to the wall, and then strung cables behind the wall.
I am very impressed, as these are the first installers who brought their own drop cloth and cleaned up after they finished. Also, they set the TV up (attaching all of the cables to my FiOS tuner, ethernet switch, and Apple TV, and then testing all of the connections to see if it worked).
All and all, I would highly recommend them to install your flat-screen TVs.

Member Comments: Excellent job of installing the TV.  Went above and beyond - when they pulled the credenza away from the wall, they noticed the water had dripped from the electrical outlet.  They went to the truck and got a ladder to go up in the attic to check for moisture to see if it was caused by a roof leak.  The installers were excellent, very friendly, and professional.  When I am ready to have the TV downstairs mounted on wall, I will definitely call Mr. TV Mount again.  They were wonderful.

Member Comments: Overall excellent experience.  I purchased my own mounting bracket from Amazon, then got Mr. TV Mount to do the installation.  The initial quote was $249, negotiated down to $199 since I agreed to help them hang the TV on the bracket (enabling them to send one technician instead of two).  The technician was about an hour late due to severe weather in the area, but the dispatcher took the initiative in calling me to provide an updated arrival time.
The technician was extremely professional, well-equipped with all of the necessary tools, and dedicated to doing the job right.  After initially finishing the installation with 1" spacers on the mounting bracket (to allow additional clearance for the TV's power cord), the technician took a hard look at it and determined that it would probably just barely fit without the spacers.  So he actually took the TV off the wall, removed the bracket, reinstalled it without the spacers, and hung the TV again -- and this was all his idea, not mine!  I would have been perfectly happy with the spacers, but he was willing to put an extra 20 minutes into the job just to make it look as good as possible.  When one of my HDMI cables was too short to reach the mounted TV, he pulled out an extra HDMI cable from his toolbox, free of charge.  He also did a thorough clean-up with a shop vac after he was finished, which I appreciated.
I'm really glad that I went with a professional for this job.  Next time I need to mount a TV, I know who to call.

Member Comments: Sam and his helper arrived right on time, and they wasted no time in getting to work. Prior to engaging Sam, I had numerous communications via phone and email with Sam and his wife Gina. I had a lot of questions, and they were very helpful and diligent in following up with me. We live in an older townhome and my biggest concern was that there wouldn't be sufficient space behind our drywall for them to run the wires. I actually hammered a long nail into the wall and could only get it to a depth of about 1 and 1/2 inches before hitting the concrete block behind the drywall. Sam was confident there was sufficient clearance to run the wires, but I wasn't so sure. The first thing Sam did was to check the walls for studs, and then to examine my test hole, he immediately determined there was sufficient clearance and he told me exactly where they would have to cut small holes into the walls to enable them to run the wires (Note: this was not a surprise, they advised me they would need to do this in advance), in our case it turned out to be about eight locations, but four of them are covered by wall plates so you don't even see them. The remaining four holes were professionally patched at the end of the job. Note: Sam did advise me that I would have to sand these patches and apply one additional coat of drywall plaster, and then I could sand and repaint. Sam did an exceptional job of keeping the holes very small, and they are only about 4 inches in size. 

Prior to the work begin performed, our TV sat on an oversize cart in the corner of the room. They removed the TV, DVD player, and FiOS cable box from the cart, and carried the cart out of the room. This cart probably weighs 50 lbs, but they never complained and would have put in anywhere in the house we wanted without question. Next up was the installation of the wall mount bracket to support the TV. Sam ensured the bracket was level and thoroughly mounted to the wall studs. They next routed the new HDMI cables to the new location and ran the electrical wiring and FiOS cable to the new outlet. 

Since our plan was to eliminate our old TV stand, we also had Sam mount a Sanus Component Shelf to the wall next to our fireplace to support the FiOS cable box and our DVD player. This also was professionally mounted with all wiring for these devices carefully concealed. 

In all, the job took about 4 hours to complete, and the work area was thoroughly vacuumed and all work areas wiped clean. All packaging from the mounts was also removed. Sam even cleaned the TV of fingerprints and ensured it was mounted to my satisfaction. He also had me activate the TV and both the FiOS box and DVD player to ensure everything was in working order. I would highly recommend Mr. TV Mount and will use them again in the future.

This company came to install our new 47" HD TV on the wall (never had one before) after I called to see if I could find a company to do this before Thanksgiving (very difficult). Geek Squad let us down big-time with bad information on changes needed electrically and could not "reschedule with us (from original appt on 11/11) until after the holidays. Gina was wonderful on the phone--even found a spot for us today after the initial scheduling for tomorrow and my sob story. In a nutshell, after they did the installation today, there was a problem with the TV mount (we purchased this on our own), and these folks went above and beyond anything we expected, including going out to get a new bracket at their cost and reinstalling into the evening (we were not charged for this). They had 3 technicians here today to do this and NEVER charged us more than the original estimate (they also had all parts we needed on the truck!). Thank you so much! True work and service ethics, not normally seen from most companies. Incredible.

Member Comments: From start to finish, this company was prompt, professional, and on time. Within the hour of submitting my estimate request, the very professional and pleasant Gina already contacted me by phone. Thereafter quick e-mail communication, as well as a reminder call the day before the appointment. Their estimate gave a breakdown of the two possible scenarios (cinder block or drywall/cinder block). The techs arrived exactly at 9 am and communicated with us throughout the entire process. Every step of the way was explained and only proceeded after we gave our OK. Sam suggested the TV's placement but gave us the final say on whether we agreed or not. Having a choice is a good thing. Also, since nobody was sure if we had any drywall behind the wood paneling, he let us know what was found as he went along. When he did find space to conceal the wires, he did, which was all we could hope for. They cleaned up, too!

Member Comments: l used Mr. TV Mount to mount two TVs in my home at the recommendation of my friend who raved about their awesome service. My experience was first rate. They made two trips to my home and mounted 42 inch and 60 inch flat screens. Both jobs required re-wiring and electrical work on their part in my attic and basement. It is obvious that these guys REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. The finished product is AMAZING -- it looks like my wall just magically gave birth to a tv -- no wires, no cords, nothing -- just a beautiful tv on the wall. Sam and his partner were extremely nice and respectful of my home. They arrived on time (and even slightly early for the second appointment), cleaned up very nicely, and took their shoes off when inside. Sam also made sure the tv was hooked up properly to the Internet and correct HDMI input so that all I had to do was hit the "ON" button. Gina was extremely nice and helpful on the phone and sent me emails quoting the price and confirming my appointment. I will definitely use them again to mount tvs in the future. This is certainly a situation where you get what you pay for -- quality, customer service, and a warranty. I couldn't be happier.
